| First De La Salle Canlubang Ultimate Disc Festival
Last March 13, 2010 (Saturday) De La Salle Canlubang held its
First Ultimate Disc Festival. The event was organized by the DLSC Alumni
Association and the DLSC – Office of Sports Development.
The Festival aims to foster camaraderie among Ultimate Disc team in
the Southern Manila and Laguna, exposure to individuals who like to
learn about ultimate disc and to witness a live game.
The
event was participated by four (4) teams namely; DLSC Alumni Typhoons,
Space Grapes (Alabang), Rampage (Southridge – Tahanan Village) and Mogu
Mogu (UPLB). Games were held at the DLSC Soccer field and the festival
was set in a run robin format.
The event started at 8:30 A.M.
and ended until 6:00 P.M. after 9 grueling games, the teams that emerged
in the standing are the following:
- Space Grapes
(Champion)
- Rampage (1st Runner –Up)
- Mogu
Mogu (2nd Runner – Up)
- Typhoons (3rd Runner – Up)
The event was made possible through the help of the sponsors Hershey’s
Chocolate c/o Roberta Fernandez, Gloprints c/o Gerald Soriano, Gift
Packs from the De La Salle Alumni Association.
