| DLSAA Toronto Holds 1st Grand Eyeball Party
DLSAA Toronto held its first grand eyeball party &
networking event on May 1, 2010. Coming from all over the GTA, former
students of De La Salle University, La Salle Green Hills and De La Salle
Santiago Zobel breezed in to this event with the unwavering spirit and
camaraderie of its alma mater. Graduates from the 1960’s to the 2000’s
graced the event. Attendance was a huge excitement for DLSAA Toronto.
Reaching almost a hundred, the increased participation of the 80’s and
90’s batch and the substantial presence from the 2000’s brought a very
youthful vibe to the occasion. It was momentous landmark for the
chapter this year.
Its “One
La Salle Toronto” Facebook group became a very important resource
and tool for this event. Thanks to its officers and coordinators who
decided on this fresh new approach to reach out to its members.
Its gratitude extends to the commitment and active participation of
its honorary members who mobilized the event preparation and management.
Friends and family of the alumni were delightfully welcomed. And the
kids likewise had their share of afternoon games, laughter and fun.
DLSAA Toronto’s Grand Eyeball Party proved to be a successful event
with a popular request of a second one within the year. It has set the
tone for a bold and energetic DLSAA Toronto and the group is excited for
