Brew with Bro: Rekindling the Lasallian Spirit
Last June 15, 2024, the Advancement and Alumni Relations Office (AARO), the Lasallian Pastoral Office (LSPO), and the De La Salle Alumni Association (DLSAA) proudly hosted the “Brew with Bro.” This formation activity provided Lasallian alumni a unique opportunity to engage with the De La Salle Brothers in a relaxed "kapihan" setting. Through shared stories and experiences, the event aimed to strengthen the bond between alumni and the Brothers, celebrating the Lasallian spirit that unites them. Present in this event are some of the De La Salle Brothers, Br. Irwin Climaco FSC, Br. Lemuel Asunción FSC, Br Antonio Cubillas FSC, and Br. Manny Sia FSC, including the Executive Director of AARO, Mr. Edwin Reyes, the DLSAA Immediate Past President, Mr. Karl Velhagen, DLSAA trustee, Mr. Emmanuel Dy, DLSAA Executive Director, Dr. Joaquin Moreno, and Ms. Macy Eusebio of the LSPO, who helped facilitate the event.
Prof. Randy I. Nonato, President of the De La Salle Alumni Association, opened the event with heartfelt remarks. He thanked the De La Salle Brothers, who have dedicated their lives to the Lasallian core values of Religio, Mores, and Cultura, and reiterated to everyone that we are all beneficiaries of the De La Salle Brothers' dedication and guidance.
The DLSAA President, Prof. Randy, led the toast to the De La Salle Brothers, for their tireless dedication and unwavering commitment to the values of our Founder, Saint John Baptist de La Salle, and encouraged everyone to support and honor them in everything that we do.
The "Brew with Bro" event was more than just a casual meet-up – it was a celebration of the enduring legacy of the De La Salle Brothers. Through the exchange of inspirational stories and experiences, alumni and Brothers alike found renewed motivation to live out the core Lasallian values in their personal and professional lives.
