Message from the President - Sept. 12, 2020

Since our last board meeting in July the DLSAA has been working on a number of projects. The Chapters have been equally busy. The Formation and Honors and Awards Committees have been doing groundwork on special projects. Homecoming Committee is likewise reviewing its policies for 2021.

The Formation Committee in partnership with the La Sallian Mission Office of DLSU has crafted a program to envirogate the community on the life and times of our founder, St John Baptist De La Salle. Speakers will come from the Brothers Community. This is scheduled for this October.

The Honors and Awards Committee has already announced that the deadline for nominations for the One La Salle Night of Excellence is end-September. Exemplary and Sports Honors Sub-Coms have likewise been formed. Deliberations are scheduled in October through November.

The celebrating classes for 2021 have been identified. Class reps will be called on for a meeting to discuss their reunions. The DLSAA is prepared to help.

Other key projects are:

1. Elections of new officers for College of Law.
2. Election of new officers for School of Economics.
3. Election of new officers for College of Computer Science.

While there is still no end in site for this pandemic crisis we all face we are one with all in prayer that our community be safe and remain healthy always.
