This ceremony marks a new beginning for the chapter, ushering in fresh leadership and renewed commitment to the Lasallian values of community, service, and excellence.

The induction was officiated by Prof. Randy I. Nonato, President of the De La Salle Alumni Association, who expressed pride in welcoming the new leaders. In his address, President Nonato underscored the significance of the induction, not just as a celebration of the officers' achievements but as a reaffirmation of their dedication to the values and principles upheld by De La Salle University.
Our DLSAA President reflected on the journey of the new officers, highlighting their evolution from students to professionals and now as proud alumni stepping into leadership roles. He emphasized that this milestone is more than just a title; it represents a commitment to growth, service, and leadership rooted in the Lasallian tradition.
“During your collegiate heyday, the College of Science has equipped you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in your chosen fields,” DLSAA President Nonato said. “Remember, as you move forward, that the spirit of Lasallian education emphasizes not just intellectual development but also the importance of community and social responsibility.”
He encouraged the new officers and members of the College of Science Chapter to remain engaged with the alumni association and to actively contribute to the Lasallian mission. The DLSAA President stressed the importance of staying connected, supporting one another, and continuing to embody the Lasallian ideals of Religio, Mores, and Cultura—Faith, Morals, and Culture.
“I encourage each of you to stay connected with the association, contribute to our Lasallian mission, and support one another as you embark on your professional journeys, more so, activating the College of Science Chapter,” DLSAA President Nonato added. “Together, we can make a significant impact, uphold the Lasallian ideals, and inspire future generations.”
The event was hosted by COS Dean, Dr. Mary Jane Flores. In addition to the induction ceremony, Dr. Flores led the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new COS Alumni Office, a dedicated space for the DLSAA COS Chapter located within the Office of the COS Dean.
The induction ceremony concluded with a message of congratulations and optimism and the traditional singing of the Alma Mater Hymn. As the new officers embark on their leadership roles, they carry with them the responsibility to lead by example, make meaningful contributions to their communities, and inspire future generations of Lasallians.
Animo La Salle!
