Known in the military as a visionary, strategist and tactician, his leadership of the 31D unit is responsible for the internal peace and security operations in the whole of Region VI. This unit protects major industries and vital installations and facilities in the region. As commander of the 703rd Infantry Brigade (703Bde) of 71D, of the Philippine Army, he led internal security operations in Central Luzon and cleared enemy fronts in Pampanga, Bulacan, Bataan, Zambales, Nueva Ecija, and Subic Bay and Clark bases, restoring peace and order, and triggering investment and economic growth.
