for her outstanding and distinctive defense game which propelled her team to multiple UAAP championships and identified her as one of the finest blockers in Philippine volleyball
Baron began her career in volleyball in 2012 and
quickly honed her skills under the guidance of
her coach. During her first year however, she was
unable to make the team. Baron’s second year also
proved uneventful. Yet, she still persevered and
worked on her game with fiery passion in her heart.
By UAAP Season 78, Baron made a breakthrough.
She made the starting six and became the season
Best Blocker with a championship trophy. From that
moment on, success followed her. She ended her
five-season UAAP career with three-peat as best
blocker and MVP award.
Her other achievements include winning gold and
silver at the All Filipino Conference (2016 and 2017
respectively). She was also the gold medalist for
the 2017 Grand Prix and won 2nd Best Middle
Blocker. Currently, Baron is playing for a club team
in a professional volleyball league.
