Thanks to Santiago, the women's tennis team - or more popularly known as the Lady Tennisters - have maintained its edge over their rivals in recent years. They were the Champion in the UAAP Awards Season 72, where Santiago was named Rookie of the Year, and in the following season, Santiago was hailed as their Most Valuable Player while retaining their Champion Team status. In the 75th UAAP season, the team was named champion yet again and Santiago was awarded the MVP title for the second time. As a result of her efforts, her team became a three-time champion and five-time finalist, making the Lady Tennisters an intimidating presence on the court.
